Highlights Report September 19th - 20th
Historic first-ever medal for Japanese Men Category!!And Second Place at the Aloha Cup.

The first medals were awarded on the Wednesday 19 with conclusion of the Men's Tournament. CT Surfer Kanoa Igarashi grabbed the 2nd place, and Shun Murakami finished in 4th, both historic, first-ever medals for Japan. The champion was Argentine's Santiago Muñiz.
At this point, both men's and women's team members of NAMINORI JAPAN have concluded each respective individual performances, with the total sum of points, which will represent the country's placement, stands at 3368 points. After counting all points of the ongoing women's repechage heats and consideration of other factors, the final country rankings will be decided.

Additionally, the Aloha Cup held on Thursday 20th ended with Spain as winner and Japan in a close second.
